About

Why this exists.

The story behind Ojjasya, in my own words.

The problem

I tried to stay fit the way everyone said I should.

Gym memberships I barely used. Apps that sent notifications I ignored. Diet advice that assumed I'd never eat rice again.

Nothing worked. Not because I lacked discipline, but because none of it was built for my actual life. Early mornings, long days, food I grew up with, a body that needed more than just punishment to feel good.

I knew I wasn't alone.

What I built

A practice, not a fight with myself.

Ojjasya came from a simple question: what if fitness didn't feel like fighting yourself?

What if it was a practice, something you showed up to because it made you feel better, not because you were chasing a "transformation"? What if the movement was rooted in traditions that made sense to your body? What if the diet guidance worked with your food instead of against it? What if you weren't alone, but part of a small group that actually expected you to be there?

That's what I built.

The name

Ojjasya comes from Ojas.

In Ayurveda, Ojas is the vital essence of health. Not muscle. Not aesthetics. The fundamental energy that makes you feel alive.

That's what we're training for. Not a body that looks different. A body that feels like yours again.

What I believe

Four things I hold to.

01

Fitness should be sustainable, not punishing.

If it feels like punishment, you'll quit, and you'll be right to. The practice has to be something you can keep doing, on a normal week, for a long time.

02

Community creates accountability that willpower can't.

A small group that knows your name will get you to show up on the days willpower alone never could. That's why every batch is capped at 20.

03

Your food and your schedule deserve respect.

No one-size-fits-all program. The guidance works with how you already eat and the hours you actually have, not against them.

04

Feeling strong matters more than looking strong.

This was never about the after-photo. It's about the energy to get through your day and the sense that your body is yours again.
